Welcome to my website, K-ESL, English for Korean women! This is a website to introduce my business to those Korean women (and children) who are interested in learning English as a Second Language. I am a private one-on-one home tutor of English in the Knoxville/Powell, Tennessee area. I've had experience both here and in Korea teaching English to foreign people. I am a certified ESL teacher, as well as a Master's degree holder in education.
I've always been fascinated with international people and love to learn about other cultures, particularly Korean. I've been learning Korean for the past 4 years and spent some time living in Korea and teaching English there. I recently married the love of my life, a wonderful Korean man named Michael.
I would like to help you with your English studies. I can help any area of English, including the following: grammar, reading, writing, listening, speaking, pronunciation, conversational skills, survival skills, and even proofreading/editing research papers for college. Prices:
  • $20---1 hour lesson
  • More than 1 hour can be taken during the week.
  • Payment is done monthly, at the beginning of each month.

Locations: YOUR CHOICE!!!

  • Your own home, a place to be more expressive and comfortable, without feeling nervous
  • A public library, a quiet place to study
  • Another public meeting place, like a coffee shop or cafe, to learn English in a more natural environment
